Elena Mitu is an associate at Vanguard International Dispute Resolution, who specializes in international arbitration. She represented and advised international companies, State entities and States in commercial and investment treaty disputes across a variety of industries including construction & engineering, energy, insurance, oil and gas, and crypto currency. She has experience in arbitrations conducted under the ICC, ICSID, LCIA and UNCITRAL Rules. Elena also has experience serving as arbitral secretary in commercial arbitrations.
Prior to joining Vanguard International Dispute Resolution, Elena worked as an associate and intern at an international arbitration law firm in Paris. Before that, she was a legal intern at the Paris offices of two international law firms, as well as at a New York-based law firm.
Elena is admitted to the Paris and New York Bar. She obtained an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution and Advocacy from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
